A classic North Green cultivar, from 1997, it was sometime before enough material was available to pinpoint the difference of this plant's parentage (G. plicatus 'Trym' and G. nivalis) from that of the florally similar 'Trumps', found two years later, which is G. plicatus 'Trym' and G. elwesii).
