In several ways this superb selection recalls the flowers in their markings and shape, of G. plicatus ‘Bumblebee’ but the glaucous sculpted foliage, so characteristic of this hybrid, distinguishes it. One of a pair of seedlings of this parentage from the late Veronica Cross’s Herefordshire garden. It is among a very select few inverse poculiform G. x hybridus. Exceptional.
